Job summary

AVENSYS CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an L1 Support Engineer to provide first-line IT support across Singapore sites.

You will log, troubleshoot and resolve incidents within SLA, escalate when needed, and maintain accurate ticket records while following SOPs and security controls. The role requires flexibility for 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, onsite. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in IT/Computer Studies or equivalent with 1–2 years of IT support experience,

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT/Computer Studies or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant IT support experience.
• Knowledge of Windows endpoints, basic networking, peripherals and ServiceNow/Jira.
• Structured troubleshooting and basic SQL skills; Unix/Linux exposure is beneficial.
• Clear communication, customer service and ability to work independently onsite.
• Eligible for the required security clearance and site access, and willing to be deployed or reassigned across Singapore based on capabilities, skills and operational needs.
• Available for 12-hour rotating shifts, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for workstations, peripherals, applications and connectivity across assigned Singapore sites.
• Log, prioritise, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and requests within SLA.
• Collect diagnostic evidence and escalate to L2, infrastructure, application or vendor teams.
• Respond to outages and service degradation and provide timely updates.
• Maintain accurate ticket records, daily reports and shift handovers. Follow SOPs, security controls and site-access requirements.
• Support trend analysis, automation and service improvements.
