Job summary

USER EXPERIENCE RESEARCHERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a frontend engineer to design platform operations and translate UI/UX designs into accessible web interfaces.

You will build reusable components, enforce frontend best practices, and collaborate with product teams in Singapore to deliver high-quality experiences. This role emphasizes security, performance, and CI/CD pipelines, with experience in Vue.js and modern frontend frameworks.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years in frontend development and engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with Vue.js / Vue Framework and React/Angular.
• Good understanding of modern frontend architecture, reusable components and responsive web development.
• Experience translating UI/UX designs into intuitive, responsive and accessible user interfaces; familiarity with WCAG.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including code quality, testing, maintainability and performance.
• Adherence to software craftsmanship principles; clean, maintainable code.
• Experience implementing and/or managing CI/CD pipelines and frontend build/deploy processes.
• Experience developing, deploying or operating web apps on cloud platforms (AWS).
• Experience using Storybook for UI component development and documentation.
• Preferred experience with public sector or regulated-environment systems.
• Familiarity with security, technology, and digital service standards.

Responsibilities

• Design Platform Operations
• Collaborate with Project/Product teams to refine user stories and translate them into technical requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive and accessible web components that deliver excellent user experiences.
• Implement and enforce frontend best practices, including component reusability, performance optimization, and accessibility.
• Ensure frontend security best practices, including protection against XSS, CSRF, and other vulnerabilities; integrate static code analysis and security testing tools into the workflow.
• Document technical decisions, architectural patterns, and frontend best practices.
