Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific in Singapore seeks a capable frontend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and components. You will work in an Agile/DevOps setting delivering production-grade solutions with strong emphasis on performance, accessibility, and security.

You will translate UI/UX designs into responsive interfaces, build reusable components, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with project teams and government-sector standards where applicable.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• 3+ years frontend development and engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Hands-on Vue.js experience; familiarity with React/Angular.
• Knowledge of modern frontend architecture and reusable components.
• Experience translating UI/UX designs into accessible interfaces (WCAG).
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: code quality, testing, maintainability, performance.
• Experience implementing or managing CI/CD pipelines and frontend build/deploy.
• Experience on cloud platforms (AWS) and UI component development with Storybook.
• Govt sector experience and familiarity with IM8/DSS policies are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design Platform Operations: collaborate with teams to refine user stories into technical requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive and accessible web components.
• Enforce frontend best practices: reusability, performance optimization, accessibility.
• Ensure frontend security; integrate static analysis and security testing into workflow; support security assessments.
• Document technical decisions, architectural patterns, and frontend best practices.
