Job summary

OPUS IT Services Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to build, refine, and maintain responsive web interfaces. The role emphasizes modern frontend architectures, reusable components, and WCAG-compliant accessibility.

You will collaborate with product teams to translate user needs into robust UI solutions and ensure secure development practices within cloud deployments. Applicants should have 3+ years in frontend development, strong HTML/CSS/Java skills, and hands-on experience

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
At least 3 years in frontend development and engineering experience
Strong hands-on development with HTML, CSS and Java
Strong experience with Vue.js / Vue Framework (and any other design frameworks such as React and Angular)
Good understanding of modern frontend architecture, reusable components and responsive web development
Experience translating UI/UX designs into intuitive, responsive and accessible user interfaces; familiarity with WCAG

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Project/Product teams to refine user stories and translate them into technical requirements
Design, develop, and maintain responsive and accessible web components that deliver excellent user experiences.
Implement and enforce frontend best practices, including component reusability, performance optimization, and accessibility.
Ensure frontend security best practices, including protection against XSS, CSRF, and other vulnerabilities. This includes integrating static code analysis and application security testing tools (e.g., SonarQube, Fortify on Demand) into the development workflow, as well as supporting broader security assessments such as web vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and cloud infrastructure penetration tests.
Document technical decisions, architectural patterns, and frontend best practices.
