SKILLSFORCE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY PTE LTD is looking for a motivated Junior Trade Support to assist with post-trade processing of Futures & Options and ensure timely settlement in a fast-paced trading environment.

You will collaborate with Trading, Sales, Technology, and Operations to uphold risk controls, resolve settlement issues, and drive process improvements across the trade lifecycle. The role requires strong accuracy, client service mindset, and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Trade Support, Middle Office Operations, Cash Processing, or Listed Derivatives Operations.
• Knowledge of Futures & Options products and market operations.
• Understanding of the trade lifecycle, including trade capture, allocation, reconciliation, and settlement processes.

Responsibilities

• Support clients' post-trade requirements, including the management of trade-related queries, transaction requests, and settlement activities.
• Monitor and ensure the timely and accurate processing of Futures & Options transactions from trade capture through to settlement.
• Assist in maintaining the integrity of the firm's books and records through robust operational controls and procedures.
• Perform daily trade validations, reconciliations, and exception management to minimize operational risk.
• Monitor and manage suspense accounts, ensuring trades are correctly allocated and resolved on a T+0 basis whenever possible.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders across Trading, Sales, Technology, Risk, and Operations to resolve trade and settlement issues.
• Participate in change management initiatives, assessing operational impacts and supporting process enhancements.
• Identify, document, and implement improvements to operational procedures, workflows, and control frameworks.
• Support regulatory, audit, and internal control requirements while ensuring adherence to operational risk standards.
• Contribute to enhancing the overall client experience through efficient problem-solving and operational excellence.

About the Role

My client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Trade Support. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in Futures & Options, Trade Support, Middle Office, or Financial Operations who are looking to develop their career within a fast-paced trading environment.

You will play a key role in supporting post-trade activities, ensuring the accurate processing and settlement of client transactions while maintaining strong risk and control standards. Working closely with Trading, Sales, Technology, and Operations teams, you will help deliver exceptional client service and contribute to process improvements across the trade lifecycle.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Trade Support, Middle Office Operations, Cash Processing, or Listed Derivatives Operations.
• Knowledge of Futures & Options products and market operations.
• Understanding of the trade lifecycle, including trade capture, allocation, reconciliation, and settlement processes.
• Strong attention to detail and a risk-control mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Client-focused approach with strong relationship-building abilities.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with industry platforms such as GMI, Traiana, or similar trade processing systems.
• Exposure to operational risk management, trade reconciliations, and exception handling.
• Experience supporting process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
