Job summary

GFM VIVO CITY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Restaurant Service Supervisor to oversee daily front-of-house operations and uphold service standards. You will lead the service team, manage reservations and seating, and ensure accurate order taking and timely service.

The role requires strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills, with flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Training and guidance for staff will be part of the duties.

• Familiar with point-of-sale systems and payment handling.

• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily front-of-house operations and ensure smooth service.
• Assign duties and brief the service team before each shift.
• Monitor employee attendance, grooming and work performance.
• Welcome guests and assist with reservations, queues and seating arrangements.
• Ensure orders are taken accurately and served promptly.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team regarding orders, special requests and service timing.
• Monitor the dining area and ensure tables are cleared and reset efficiently.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.
• Support the team during busy service periods.
• Train and guide new and existing service employees.
• Ensure employees understand the menu, promotions and service procedures.
• Monitor service supplies and request replenishment when required.
• Ensure cash, card and other payment transactions are handled accurately.
• Assist with daily sales reconciliation and cashier closing procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of all customer-facing areas.
• Enforce food hygiene, workplace safety and service standards.
• Conduct opening and closing checks.
• Report operational, staffing or maintenance issues to the Restaurant Manager.
• Take charge of front-of-house operations when the Restaurant Manager is unavailable.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager.
