Job summary

Sankyu (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to arrange bookings, coordinate with suppliers and customers, and ensure smooth cargo flow for sea and air shipments. You will prepare shipping instructions, LC-related paperwork, and customs documents while maintaining open communication with stakeholders.

Based at 11 Clementi Loop, 5 days a week (Mon to Fri), 8:00 am to 5:45 pm, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

At least O Level is required.
Minimum 1 year of relevant shipping experience.
Knowledge of import/export ocean shipments.
Experience with Letter of Credit documentation, incoterms, and Singapore shipping procedures.
Familiarity with PortNet, TradeNet and invoicing processes.
Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
Able to work as a team, be proactive and responsible.
Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

Arrange bookings with shipping lines or carriers for sea or air cargo.
Prepare and manage shipping documents including shipping instructions, LC documents and customs paperwork.
Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely shipments.
Monitor shipments real-time and address delays with corrective actions.
Ensure timely billing and invoice accuracy.
Respond to customer inquiries and maintain clear shipment status communications.
