Job summary

Sankyu Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Sea Freight Coordinator to manage bookings, documentation, and cargo progress for timely delivery and billing.

You will coordinate with shipping lines, suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure smooth cargo flow and accurate paperwork including L/C and Incoterms.

The role requires at least 2 years in shipping; fresh graduates may apply. Immediate availability is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: O Level.
• At least 2 years of experience in shipping.
• Fresh graduates may apply.
• Knowledge of import/export ocean shipments and L/C documentation.
• Understanding of Incoterms and Singapore procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to work proactively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Arrange bookings with shipping lines or carriers for sea cargo transport.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, internal departments, and warehouse teams.
• Prepare and manage shipping instructions, customs documents, and letters of credit.
• Arrange timely collection and dispatch of cargo.
• Monitor shipment progress in real-time and provide updates.
• Identify and resolve delays or issues promptly.
• Ensure timely billing and invoice processing.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
• Maintain open communication with customers for updates.
