Job summary

AIM RECRUIT CONSULTANCY PTE. LIMITED is seeking a Freight Operation Officer to join our logistics team in Singapore. The role covers coordination of inbound and outbound freight, document handling, and compliance with safety and customs rules.

Working 5.5 days, you will track shipments, liaise with carriers and internal teams, perform data entry, and support permit declarations to ensure smooth operations and timely updates for clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping documentation and freight paperwork.
• Familiarity with airway bills, B/L, and import/export docs.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics and shipping operations for inbound and outbound freight.
• Preparing and reviewing shipping documents, including airway bill, B/L and Import/Export paperwork.
• Track shipment from origin to destination, updating clients and stakeholders as needed.
• Inspect cargo in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage, handling and compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform data entry tasks and support permit declaration and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers and internal teams to resolve operational issues or delays.
• Support clients/internal teams, answering queries related to shipments, document & logistics processes.
• Knowledge of Air/Sea freight logistics and shipping operations is advantageous.
• Experience in shipping documentation, including customs declarations and freight paperwork.
