Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd is hiring a Business Development Executive (Freight Forwarding) with a monthly salary of SGD 4,000–5,500 plus commission. Working hours are 9am–5.30pm, five days a week, at Fort Canning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of hunter sales / business development experience in freight forwarding industry.
• Proven track record and good networking with carriers, coleaders and trucking companies etc.

Responsibilities

• Improve company’s market position and achieve financial growth.
• Meet and exceed objectives through development of new businesses, coordination of Business Development shipments and existing business penetration.
• Identify target customers, initiate own sales calls, pursue them and convert them into clients.
• Coordinate with Finance and Indoor Sales on payment issues and follow up with clients.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of business and prepare sales planning and forecasting activities.
• Source rates from carriers, hauliers, offices and worldwide agents; interact with subcontractors.
• Maintain teamwork with Indoor Sales, Business Development and other teams; support sales strategy.
