Job summary

JOB EXPRESS SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Customer Service (Freight Forwarding) to manage shipment arrangements and coordinate documentation for imports and exports. The role involves processing custom declarations and liaising with staff across various countries.

The ideal candidate will work Monday to Friday with Saturday mornings expected and should be prepared to handle various responsibilities in a small team environment.

Responsibilities

• Process custom declaration and bill of landing.
• Manage shipment arrangement for cargo clearance for delivery by air and sea freight.
• Prepare and check import shipment documents.
• Ensure proper coordination between warehouse staff, sales staff, shipping agents, overseas counterparts & vendors.
• Work in a small team, covering all aspects of the forwarding process.
• Basic admin duties such as billing, costings, and payment follow up.
• Liaising with colleagues in Japan and Vietnam for shipping query.
• On/ off-sites inventory stock take.
• Support strategic purchasing request.
