Digital Edge is seeking a commercially minded FP&A Manager to act as Finance Business Partner to HR. Based in Singapore, you will lead headcount and people cost planning, translate workforce data into financial implications, and help leaders make affordable decisions as we scale.

You will build financial models and Power BI dashboards, deliver monthly workforce insights, and partner with HR and senior leaders to align workforce plans with strategic goals across multiple markets in Asia.

What we need:

We are seeking a commercially minded FP&A Manager to act as Finance Business Partner to our HR function. Based in Singapore and reporting to the Associate Director of FP&A, you will work closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the HR leadership team and senior leaders across the business, acting as the conduit between HR, the business's hiring needs and Finance. You will lead headcount and people cost planning, translate workforce data into its financial implications, and help leaders make informed, affordable decisions as we scale.

Key responsibilities:

Financial planning and forecasting

• Lead people cost budgeting, rolling forecasts and Latest Estimates (LE), translating hiring plans, attrition, compensation and benefits into entity-, function- and site-level forecasts.
• Deliver monthly Flash reporting on headcount and people cost, highlighting risks and opportunities against budget and LE.

P&L and Opex ownership

• Own the Group's people-related costs (employee costs, contractors, recruitment and other workforce costs), including capitalised labour within Capex.
• Analyse actuals against budget, LE and prior month by country, function and cost category, explaining key drivers and agreeing actions with budget holders.
• Partner with Financial Controllers on accruals, capitalisation, allocations and commissions, while Controllers retain ownership of accounting entries.

Business partnering

• Act as Finance's primary partner to the CHRO and HR leadership team, bringing a commercial lens to workforce planning, organisation design and HR initiatives.
• Work with department heads across Sales, Operations and other functions to align headcount with strategic goals, assessing affordability before recruitment commitments are made.
• Prepare and present materials for the CFO, CHRO and senior leadership team, giving clear, decision-ready recommendations on headcount, people cost and workforce plans.
• Review HR workforce data for accuracy and consistency with Finance, and translate it into its financial implications.

Data insights and modelling

• Build financial models and business cases for new initiatives, organisation changes, new markets and site ramp-ups.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and a concise monthly workforce pack covering headcount, people cost, forecast risks and agreed actions.

Process transformation

• Act as Finance business owner for workforce planning systems and help drive integration between HR and Finance systems.
• Drive automation, standardisation and continuous improvement of planning and reporting workflows, improving forecast accuracy, data quality and controls while protecting confidential employee data.

This role offers broad, regular exposure to the CFO, CHRO and senior leadership team, including preparing and presenting the materials they use to make workforce decisions. You will have the chance to shape a newly established role and gain broad experience across Group FP&A. The successful candidate:

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, finance business partnering or commercial finance; experience in headcount or people cost planning is strongly preferred.
• Credible and confident with senior stakeholders, including C-suite; able to challenge constructively and explain financial implications clearly to non-finance audiences.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong executive presentation skills.
• Hands-on and detail-oriented; comfortable reconciling data and turning it into clear insight.
• Working knowledge of employee cost accounting (accruals, capitalisation, allocations).
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling, strong PowerPoint and hands‑on Power BI; a track record of automating finance processes or implementing planning systems.
• High integrity and discretion in handling confidential employee and compensation information.
• Preferred: data center, telecommunications, utilities or infrastructure experience in a multi-country business; experience with enterprise planning and HR systems; degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA, CFA, MBA or equivalent.
