Job summary

BAH Partners Limited is seeking a founding Software Engineer for an early-stage AI startup in Singapore. You will own the core product engineering function, turning research into scalable, production-ready software and APIs that integrate LLMs and solver technologies.

You’ll build scalable backend services, design data workflows, and own deployment pipelines while shaping engineering standards. You will lead frontend interfaces and cloud infrastructure efforts, enabling customers to interact

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong backend and full-stack capabilities.
• Experience with Python, Node.js, Go or similar backend technologies.
• Proven ability to deploy production-ready applications independently.
• Experience taking a product from 0 to 1.
• Strong API development, database and system architecture fundamentals.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure), CI/CD and containerisation.
• Frontend experience with React, Vue, Svelte or similar.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend services and APIs integrating LLMs, solvers and data workflows.
• Develop production-ready apps from research prototypes.
• Design systems for asynchronous, long-running, compute-heavy workloads.
• Create frontend interfaces for customers to interact with AI solutions.
• Own cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, monitoring and reliability.
• Set engineering standards and best practices for future growth.
