Job summary

The company is seeking an Operations Manager to sit at the Founder’s Office, acting as a mini-COO in a fast-growing AI startup headquartered in Singapore. You will own cross-functional programs, implement SOPs, and build workflows spanning multiple countries and teams.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in operations, a builder’s mindset, and strong communication with engineers, finance, and vendors. Experience with startup environments and data-driven decision-making is valued.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in operations, PMO, or business operations in tech/startups preferred
• Bachelor's degree or above in Business Admin, Eng. Mgmt, Information Mgmt, Supply Chain, or related
• Builder's mindset: you create or improve processes from scratch
• Strong cross-functional communication with engineers, finance, and external vendors
• Data-driven: you identify problems in ops data and propose fixes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Feishu/Lark or similar tools
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment

Responsibilities

• Build the company's internal operating system: SOPs, workflows, project tracking, and operational trackers
• Drive cross-functional projects across engineering, product, data, hardware, finance, and HR across multiple countries/time zones
• Own contract, procurement, and payment workflows end-to-end including vendor communication and follow-up
• Maintain operational data on projects, vendors, and costs; assist budgeting and spend tracking
• Implement and continuously improve internal systems and ensure they actually work
