Job summary

DADACONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Startup Operations / Business Operations Manager to work closely with the founder and support rapid growth across Singapore and China.

This role acts as a mini COO, covering operations, finance, HR, supply chain, and administration, with a focus on cross-border coordination. You will lead the setup of Singapore and Shanghai entities, align with HQ and regional teams, build scalable processes, and drive 0-to-1 projects.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment and setup of Singapore and Shanghai entities with stakeholders.
• Coordinate day-to-day ops between Singapore HQ and Shanghai team.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Admin on cross-border operations.
• Define and improve internal processes including approvals and recruitment.
• Identify gaps and propose systems and tech solutions.
• Drive transition from people-based to standardized, scalable processes.
• Partner with founder on strategic initiatives and 0 to 1 projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure timely execution.
• Tackle ad-hoc tasks as the company scales.

Startup Operations / Business Operations Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly hands-on and versatile Startup Operations / Business Operations Manager to work closely with the founder and support the company's growing operations across Singapore and China.

This role is similar to a "mini COO", with broad exposure across business operations, finance, HR, supply chain, administration, and cross-border coordination. The successful candidate will help the company transition from a highly founder-driven "people-dependent" operating model to a more structured, process-driven and scalable organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment and operational setup of the Singapore & Shanghai entity, including coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations between the Singapore headquarters and Shanghai team.
• Work closely with Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Administration, and other functional teams to ensure smooth cross-border operations.
• Establish and improve internal processes covering approval workflows, finance, recruitment, administration, and general operations.
• Identify operational gaps and recommend appropriate systems, tools, and technology solutions to improve efficiency.
• Drive the transition from people-dependent processes → standardised processes → systemisation → scalable operations.
• Work closely with the founder on strategic and operational initiatives and independently drive projects from 0 to 1.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure timely execution of key business initiatives.
• Take on ad-hoc projects and responsibilities as the company continues to scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Management, Finance, Operations, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a startup, high-growth company, or fast-paced business environment is highly preferred.
• Strong generalist mindset, with the ability to work across multiple functions and manage different priorities.
• Proven experience in building processes and operational systems from 0 to 1.
• Highly hands-on with strong execution and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment with minimal structure.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Able to work independently, take ownership, and drive projects through to completion.
