Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Quality Assurance professional with experience in a food manufacturing environment to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes HACCP knowledge, GMP, audits, complaint handling, root cause analysis, CAPA, and robust QA documentation, with close collaboration with Production and R&D teams to drive continuous improvement.

Candidates should have strong English communication and data analysis skills; knowledge of Singapore food regulations

Qualifications

• Experience in QA or QC in a food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety management.
• Experience with microbiological testing and food hygiene control.
• Experience in quality inspection, specification management, and product release.
• Ability to handle customer complaints, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
• Experience in internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Good understanding of GMP, 5S, sanitation, and foreign material control.
• Ability to prepare and maintain SOPs, specifications, inspection records, and other QA documents.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work closely with Production and R&D teams.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Preferred Experience with FSSC 22000 or ISO 22000.
• Preferred Experience with Halal certification and requirements (if applicable).
• Preferred Knowledge of Singapore food regulations / SFA requirements.
• Preferred Experience in supplier quality management and supplier audits.
• Preferred Experience in frozen food, sauce, seafood, or ready-to-eat food manufacturing.
• Preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Participate in quality inspections and product releases.
• Handle customer complaints, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Maintain SOPs, specifications, inspection records, and QA documents.
• Collaborate with Production and R&D teams to drive quality improvements.
