Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is recruiting a QA/QC Executive for the Quality Department in Tuas. The role focuses on ensuring product safety, regulatory compliance and strong quality systems across production and warehouse areas.
You will perform inspections, review COAs, manage quality records and support internal and external audits including SFA, Halal and FSSC 22000. Diploma in Food Science or related field is required, with 3+ years of QC experience.

Salary: $3,800 Basic + Variable Bonus
Quality Control & Inspection
Conduct start-up checks, Product Changeover (PCO), First-Off (PFO) and routine in-process inspections, including 2-hourly checks, to ensure compliance with product specifications.
Perform raw material, in-process and finished product inspections.
Verify raw material Certificates of Analysis (COA) against approved specifications.
Conduct RM/FG inspections prior to batching and production start-up.
Verify COAs and product release requirements prior to production and shipment.
Conduct finished goods sample checks and submit laboratory test requests.
Review, record and file laboratory test results accurately.
Production & Process Quality
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with product specifications, labelling accuracy, batch records and traceability requirements.
Prepare and verify production work orders and related documentation before production.
Work closely with Production and Warehouse teams to ensure proper handling, segregation and traceability of materials.
Manage raw material and finished goods rejection processes, including documentation and coordination with relevant departments.
Download, review and maintain data logger records and follow up on corrective actions for any deviations.
GMP, Hygiene & Food Safety
Conduct hygiene and GMP checks on production lines and ensure continuous compliance.
Support and monitor overall plant housekeeping and GMP standards across warehouse, production, laboratory and common areas.
Ensure the facility remains audit-ready at all times.
Identify and recommend relevant GMP, food safety, hygiene, HACCP and compliance training programmes for employees.
Documentation & Quality Records
Prepare and review QC reports, highlighting deviations, non-conformances and required corrective actions.
Maintain accurate QA documentation and records, including SOPs, logs and traceability records.
Take and maintain photographic records of finished products, pallets, labelling and work order lots for documentation and export purposes.
Audit & Regulatory Compliance
Assist with internal and external audits, including SFA, Halal and FSSC 22000 audits.
Prepare required documentation and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.
Support the submission of samples and documentation for SFA laboratory testing and export requirements, including QP forms.
Support the maintenance of Halal documentation and ensure the validity of certifications for raw materials and finished products.
Coordinate with QA and relevant departments on applications, renewals and maintenance of regulatory licences, permits and certifications.
Keep updated on the latest food safety and regulatory requirements and support the implementation of compliance-related updates within the company.
Minimum Diploma in Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry or equivalent.
At least 3 years of QC experience in food manufacturing.
Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, food safety standards, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000, Halal and quality management systems.
Must have good knowledge and understanding of production processes.
Experience as a QP (Qualified Person) will be an advantage.
Familiarity with SFA requirements and regulations will be an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Comfortable working in production and warehouse environments.
Must not have allergies to milk or soy products.
The ideal candidate should have solid experience in food manufacturing QC, with hands‑on knowledge of production processes, GMP, HACCP and SFA requirements. Candidates with QP experience and exposure to FSSC 22000, Halal certification and regulatory audits will have an added advantage.
