Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Demand & Supply Planner (FMCG) to drive accurate SKU forecasting and optimize inventory across international markets. You will partner with global teams to align demand, forecast production needs, and ensure efficient use of production lines to meet business demands.

The role requires 3–5 years of planning experience in FMCG, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP IBP or Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or International Business.
• 3–5 years of hands-on planning experience in food, beverage, or perishable FMCG sectors with global distribution.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and working knowledge of ERP systems or supply chain software (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Maintain the master global demand schedule to provide factory visibility.
• Analyze historical sales data, seasonality, and market trends to build rolling 12-month forecasts.
• Aggregate, review, and validate monthly forecasts from all markets and distributors.
• Collaborate with sales/marketing to factor in promotions and seasonal spikes.
• Track forecast accuracy (MAPE/Bias) and adjust models.
• Translate demand into a Master Production Schedule (MPS) for canning facilities or co-packers.
• Create monthly production and packaging schedules to balance efficiency and deadlines.
• Balance production runs to minimize line changes and meet market delivery timelines.
• Manage safety stock across regional hubs and adjust inventories as needed.
• Balance target inventory with shelf-life constraints to minimize obsolescence and write-offs.
• Lead S&OP alignment meetings to resolve demand-supply imbalances.
