Job summary

Motorway Car Rentals Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a proactive Operations Assistant to manage vehicle readiness, monitor availability, and support customer service and fleet deployment across branches. You will ensure vehicles are prepared, cleaned, inspected, and ready for collection or deployment, coordinating with sales and maintenance teams.

Minimum GCE N/O Level Certification or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and monitor vehicles parked within company premises and nearby areas to ensure proper organization and security.
Prepare vehicles by cleaning and inspecting them before collection, deployment, replacement, or customer handover to ensure readiness.
Report vehicle issues, damages, or defects promptly to the Maintenance Officer to maintain fleet safety and reliability.
Update the system daily with accurate vehicle availability and status to support operational planning.
Respond professionally to phone enquiries from salespersons and customers to provide timely and courteous assistance.
Attend to walk-in customers regarding maintenance concerns and coordinate replacement vehicles when needed to minimize downtime.
Assist the Operations team with vehicle deliveries, collections, and swaps for repair or servicing to support efficient fleet management.
Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager to support team needs.
