Job summary

JK RECRUITMENT SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled BIM Modeller focused on fire protection systems for our MEP team in Singapore.

You will create, update, and maintain BIM models in line with project standards, using Revit and AutoCAD, and coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure proper integration. The role requires 2–5 years of BIM experience in fire protection, familiarity with NFPA codes, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection, Building Services, or related field.
• 2–5 years of BIM modeling experience focusing on fire protection systems.
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks.
• Familiar with NFPA/FM Global or local fire codes.
• Experience on large-scale MEP/building projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for fire protection systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP disciplines for accurate integration.
• Coordinate with the internal project team to align BIM deliverables with project requirements.
• Prepare, update, and manage shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure models comply with codes and client requirements (e.g., NFPA).
• Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks or equivalent tools.
• Support engineers by updating BIM models with design changes.
• Attend site and coordination meetings related to the model and design.
• Actively participate in project review meetings and provide BIM inputs.
• Maintain model documentation and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
