Qualifications

• Assist Chef de Partie and senior chefs with daily kitchen operations.
• Mise en place and ingredient preparation according to kitchen requirements.
• Assist in stocks, sauces and other food items.
• Support hot-kitchen preparation and production.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie and senior chefs with daily kitchen operations.
• Carry out mise en place and ingredient preparation according to kitchen requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of stocks, sauces, reductions and other food items.
• Support hot-kitchen food preparation and production.
• Assist with meat preparation and cooking according to established standards.
• Ensure proper plating, presentation and consistency of dishes.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.
• Keep assigned workstations clean, organised and ready for service.
• Work efficiently as part of the culinary team during fast-paced service periods.
• Follow the restaurant's operating procedures and risk-management requirements.
• Perform other culinary duties as assigned by the Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef or senior chefs.
