Job summary

Cutting Edge Recruitment is recruiting for a Chef de Partie role in a fine dining kitchen in Singapore. Assist the Chef de Partie in mise en place and preparation for service, cook and plate with precision, and maintain quality in line with the restaurant's philosophy.

You will own tasks in your section, ensure organized mise en place, support smooth service, uphold hygiene under SFA regulations, and collaborate with teammates while learning under senior chefs in a fast-paced, professional

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a fine dining or Michelin-standard kitchen.
• Strong foundation in culinary basics, with eagerness to learn and improve.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in daily mise en place and preparation for service.
• Cook and plate dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.
• Maintain quality and taste standards in accordance with the restaurant's culinary philosophy.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks within a specific section.
• Ensure mise en place is properly organised, labelled, and stored.
• Support smooth service by coordinating with teammates and anticipating needs during busy periods.
• Uphold hygiene and safety standards per Singapore Food Agency regulations.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and maintain workstation cleanliness.
