Job summary

The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting or finance, at least five years' experience, proficiency with FRS/IRAS, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 5 years in accounting, finance, or business administration; progress toward CA/CPA is an advantage.
• Strong technical foundation in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and IRAS regulations is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Able to multi-task, prioritise, and perform under tight timelines with minimal supervision.
• Forward‑looking and proactive, with a passion for problem‑solving and process improvement.
• A strong team player with good organisational skills.
• Prior experience with the Yonyou system is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Chinese proficiency preferred as dealing with HQ in China and Hong Kong is part of job requirement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all aspects of finance operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, treasury, taxation and statutory compliance.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing, preparation of management accounts, financial analysis and management reports.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks, risk management practices and internal processes.
• Manage liquidity, working capital, banking facilities, funding requirements and cost allocation.
• Drive financial planning and provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business performance and investment decisions.
• Oversee external audits, tax matters, GST, regulatory submissions and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, professional advisers and other external stakeholders.
• Lead, develop and strengthen the finance team by establishing clear accountability, efficient processes, capability development and succession planning.
• Deliver high-quality financial analysis, insights and reports to support senior management decision‑making.
• Lead and support ad‑hoc finance initiatives, system enhancements, process improvements and other business transformation projects.
