Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of accounts or finance experience preferred; willing to consider candidates with attitude and willingness to learn.
• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or Business Administration preferred.
• Strong judgment and analytical skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective oral and written communication with good presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills.
• Logical and critical thinking with strong numerical aptitude.
• IT savvy with MS Office and awareness of RPA, data analytics and AI tools.
• Knowledge of HR/Payroll software such as Excelity Payroll, Workday, SAP.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily Accounts Payable transactions, create vendor records, and verify payments against documents.
• Issue billings to external parties and monitor receivables with aging reports.
• Record deposits and resolve discrepancies in the Finance System.
• Post transactions to correct accounts and perform re-class journals if needed.
• Prepare AP/AR and GL reports and assist month-end and year-end closing.
• File withholding tax for foreign supplier invoices and submit GST Returns via IRAS.
• Monitor outstanding transactions with dashboards and ensure timely processing.
• Ensure controls comply with SOPs and finance guidelines; assist on client queries.
• Support internal/external audits with documentation and schedules.
• Conduct reviews of processes and suggest efficiency improvements; provide UAT support as needed.
