About the Role
Finance Executive (Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable) is responsible for supporting both the Company's Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycles, covering Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), daily revenue reconciliation, supplier payment processing, customer receivables, bank reconciliations, and month-end financial closing.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role supports both the Spa & Wellness and Food & Beverage (F&B) business units, ensuring accurate financial records, strong internal controls, compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS(I)), and efficient finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Manage the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, including purchase orders, supplier invoices, invoice verification, and payment processing.
- Process supplier invoices accurately using the Info-Tech Financial System.
- Prepare payment schedules and execute supplier payments according to approved payment terms.
- Maintain supplier master data, reconcile supplier statements, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Monitor accounts payable ageing and outstanding balances to ensure timely settlement.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Perform daily revenue reconciliation between POS, cashier reports, payment platforms, bank receipts, and accounting records.
- Reconcile all payment channels including cash, credit cards, QR payments, vouchers, prepaid membership cards, and online platforms.
- Manage Accounts Receivable records, customer balances, ageing reports, collections, and bad debt follow-up.
- Handle prepaid membership card accounting, contract liabilities, and revenue recognition in accordance with SFRS(I) 15.
- Calculate technician commissions accurately according to company policies.
General Finance Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports and management reports.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing, including AP & AR reconciliations, accruals, revenue journals, expense analysis, and contract liability reconciliations.
- Assist with annual external audits by preparing schedules, confirmations, supporting documents, and audit enquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, procurement procedures, GST requirements, and Singapore financial regulations.
- Participate in finance system enhancements, process improvements, ERP/POS integration projects, and internal control initiatives.
- Work closely with Procurement, Warehouse, Operations, Front Office, HR, and Finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum2 years of finance experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or General Accounting.
- Experience in Hospitality, Spa & Wellness, Retail, or Food & Beverage (F&B) industries will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of AP, AR, revenue reconciliation, supplier payments, customer collections, and month-end closing.
- Familiar with Singapore GST regulations and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS(I)), especially SFRS(I) 15, is preferred.
- Experience using Info-Tech Financial System, ERP systems, POS systems, or other accounting software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Power Query, and advanced Excel functions.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet reporting deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in both Chinese and English, with Chinese as the Company\'s primary internal working language and English required for suppliers, customers, banking matters, audits, and financial reporting.
