Job summary

Sport Singapore is seeking a Finance Payments Specialist to support payments, billing and financial transactions for infrastructure and development projects through the Workday system.

You will process tenancy payments, customer billings and ad hoc transactions, generate reports, and assist with year-end closing and governance. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or Finance, 1–3 years in finance operations, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines.
• Preferably 1 to 3 years of experience in finance operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable or billing administration.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Workday will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines, and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier and customer contracts and documents in Workday.
• Process tenancy payments, customer billings and ad hoc transactions accurately and promptly.
• Submit billing requests, invoices and payment transactions with supporting documents.
• Generate reports, coordinate approvals and follow up to ensure timely payments and billings.
• Review financial records for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Maintain payment, billing and audit trackers for reporting and governance.
• Support year-end closing, accruals and finance administration.
• Improve processes and strengthen financial controls.
