Job summary

Ministry of Defence of Singapore is seeking a capable finance professional to manage Air Force Training Command's budgeting and financial operations. You will drive budget exercises, oversee transactions, and develop dashboards to support prudent public fund use.

You will collaborate with Finance Managers, review workflows, and deliver monthly expenditure analyses to optimise unit spending and budget utilisation.

Qualifications

• Education in Business, Accountancy or related field.
• Relevant finance experience may count toward requirements.
• Experience in financial management or budget planning advantageous.
• Independent and able to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the budget plans of AFTC units to ensure proper and adequate use of allocated budget.
• Work closely with Finance Managers to achieve strong payment performance.
• Keep abreast of finance policies and ensure transactions are executed properly in the systems.
• Review finance workflows to provide a seamless finance experience.
• Participate in developing dashboards and bots as part of innovation efforts.
• Provide monthly expenditure analysis to update units' spending and budget utilisation.
