Job summary
bureau veritas singapore pte. ltd. seeks a seasoned Finance Controller to oversee end-to-end financial operations and drive performance across product lines in Singapore. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly closings, while partnering with executives on strategic initiatives.
Ideal candidates have 10+ years in financial controlling or audit, strong reporting discipline, and proficiency in SAP/SAP BPC, SAC, and Power BI. A relevant certification is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline.
- Professional certification (CA/CPA/ACCA) advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years in financial controlling, commercial finance or audit.
- Experience supporting revenue growth, pricing and decision-making.
- Construction/engineering sector experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee finance operations: billing, revenue recognition, AR/AP, GL, reconciliations.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A for Product Lines.
- Manage monthly/annual closings and financial reporting.
- Monitor KPIs to support business performance and decisions.
- Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
- Support audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Partner with leaders on financial analysis, pricing, profitability.
- Review tenders, contracts, and proposals for financial viability.
- Assist in due diligence, mergers, acquisitions, and new entities.
- Perform other finance and control duties as assigned.
