Job summary

Careerstar International Pte Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting across multiple preschool centres in Singapore. You will drive month-end closing, GST and tax compliance, liaise with vendors, maintain asset records and support internal controls and audit readiness.

Strong Excel, ERP experience and the ability to manage multiple centres is essential. The role requires independent work, excellent communication and the ability to coordinate with centre

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Experience managing finance operations across multiple centres, branches or entities will be an advantage.
• Experience with Singapore GST and corporate tax requirements will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Job description

Working Days: 5 Days

Location: Bedok / Bukit Timah

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting activities across multiple preschool centres.
• Review and process invoices, payments and financial documentation to ensure accuracy and timely settlement.
• Support month-end closing, bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Liaise with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing, payment and account-related matters.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents for audit, reporting and compliance purposes.
• Maintain fixed asset and PPE records and support inventory tracking and reconciliation.
• Support office and centre supply administration and procurement-related matters where required.
• Develop, review and improve finance SOPs, procedures and internal controls.
• Support GST reporting, corporate tax matters, annual audit and other statutory financial compliance requirements.
• Prepare financial information and reports for management review.
• Work closely with centre and administrative teams to ensure proper financial controls and documentation.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience managing finance operations across multiple centres, branches or entities will be an advantage.
• Experience with Singapore accounting practices and statutory financial requirements will be an advantage.
• Experience in the preschool or education sector will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Singapore GST and corporate tax requirements will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience with Microsoft Navision or other ERP/accounting systems will be an advantage.
• Experience with Taidii or similar preschool management systems will be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical, communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Additional language proficiency relevant to the operational requirements of the role will be an advantage.
