Axis Communications in Singapore is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting, reporting, compliance, and financial control activities for the Singapore entity. The role partners with management to ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance and robust internal controls while driving process improvements.

Based in Singapore, the incumbent will oversee monthly closes, statutory audits, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and regional finance support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline.
  • CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • 8 to 12 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably in an MNC environment.
  • Experience managing statutory audits, tax compliance and regulatory stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and Group reporting.
  • Manage general ledger, accruals, provisions and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements (ACRA, IRAS, GST) and corporate tax.
  • Coordinate audits and drive remediation actions.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.

Job description

The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading the accounting, reporting, compliance, and financial control activities of the Singapore entity while supporting regional finance initiatives.

The role serves as a trusted business partner to management, ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, effective internal controls, and operational excellence.

The incumbent will drive continuous process improvements, support strategic decision-making, and contribute to the development of a high-performing finance organization.

This position is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities
  • Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and Group reporting.
  • Manage general ledger, accruals, provisions and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with ACRA, IRAS, GST and corporate tax requirements.
  • Coordinate external and internal audits and drive remediation actions.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
  • Monitor cash flow forecasts, working capital and banking activities.
  • Support business leaders through financial analysis, reporting and operational insights.
  • Support regional finance reporting requirements as required.
  • Participate in ERP enhancements, automation initiatives and finance projects as required.
  • Support implementation, continuous improvement of finance policies, processes, controls.
  • Provide guidance and support to finance team members and promote best practices.
  • Participate in cross-functional and country/regional projects as required.

Knowledge, abilities, skills
  • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline.
  • CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
