Job summary

The Garcha Group, in partnership with Marriott International, seeks an experienced hospitality finance professional to manage accounting workflows, liaise with HQ and the Accounts Dept, and ensure accurate revenue and inventory reporting across hotel operations in Singapore.

Associate with Marriott systems, handle procurement and monthly cash counts, and support procurement updates while ensuring compliance and detailed record-keeping. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Professional certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the hospitality industry.
• Hotel Finance Experience, Marriott Global System, Hotel Experience, Diligent, Trustworthy, Articulate with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing incoming and outgoing letters.
• Be the representative for accounting and finance queries within the office.
• Liaising with HQ and Accounts Dept.
• Preparation of Accounting information (training will be given).
• Assist in coordinating meetings and calling of quotations.
• General Office administration duties (filings etc.).
• Working knowledge on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point essential.
• Verify and reconcile daily transactions from all revenue-generating departments (rooms, F&B, banquet).
• Review and verify Night Auditors logbook, daily revenue report and daily F&B report with supporting vouchers and trial balance.
• Review and reconcile the guest ledger, city ledger and credit card to the Accounts Receivable.
• Review the interface between POS systems and Hotel Management Systems ensuring data accuracy.
• Review of daily no show and cancellation reports and revenue accounting.
• Examine daily reports for payouts, rebates, adjustments, house use, and complimentary rooms with proper documentation.
• Responsible for monthly cash counts at Front Office and F&B outlets.
• Ensure foreign currency rates are updated regularly.
• Tactical sourcing for food and non-food categories; supplier relationship management.
• Monthly Purchasing Reports.
• Conduct Physical Inventory Counts at various locations and reconcile with company records.
• Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and take action.
• Create inventory reports and communicate findings to management.
• Any other duties requested by management.
