Job summary

BMG Hospitality PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to maintain accurate financial records, prepare statutory accounts, and support tax and regulatory requirements.

The role collaborates with auditors, accountants and advisers within a cloud-first, AI-enhanced finance environment. The successful candidate will lead the finance team as the company expands, develop finance SOPs, and ensure robust financial controls while deploying cloud tools and AI to improve productivity

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Experience preparing full sets of accounts.
• Familiar with IRAS, corporate tax and GST requirements.
• Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills.
• Experience with external auditors and audit schedules.
• Hospitality, hotel or multi-entity accounting experience is an advantage.
• Comfortable using ChatGPT and AI tools.
• Able to lead a team and establish finance processes as the company expands.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for management.
• Maintain accurate full sets of accounts for the company's operating entities.
• Prepare and coordinate IRAS submissions, statements and supporting schedules.
• Work closely with external auditors during audits.
• Prepare audit schedules and responses to auditors' queries.
• Liaise with external accountants, tax advisers and other service providers.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Reconcile revenue from hotel PMS, restaurant POS, OTAs, payment gateways and bank receipts.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial projections.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and perform variance analysis.
• Maintain proper financial controls and documentation.
• Develop and improve finance SOPs and internal controls as the company expands.
