Job summary

Agora Colearning, a Singapore-based education group, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function across multiple entities. You will report directly to the CEO and oversee a remote team, owning reporting, statutory and control outcomes for the group.

The role requires a CA Singapore or equivalent, with at least 8 years of accounting experience including multi-entity month-end close, GST filing, and statutory audits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy and a recognised professional qualification (CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• 8+ years of accounting experience, including multi-entity month-end close and group consolidation.
• GST filing experience and statutory audit exposure as preparer or lead.
• Experience supervising offshore or outsourced finance staff.
• Proficient in Xero and comfortable using AI tools to automate workflows.

Responsibilities

• Statutory, audit and tax responsibilities across all entities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual accounts for every entity.
• Own the statutory audit across all entities as preparer and main counterpart.
• Own quarterly GST filing and annual corporate tax filing with external adviser.
• Group reporting, cash management and consolidation.
• Maintain control environment, thresholds and proper documentation.
• Lead offshore finance team and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement with AI tools.
