Job summary

Minimax Fire Solutions Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a Finance Head to take full ownership of the finance function in Singapore, reporting to the Managing Director with a dotted matrix line to the Group Finance Director. You will lead a small finance team and drive integrity of financial reporting.

You will manage all accounting operations, statutory compliance (ACRA, IRAS, GST, CPF), budgeting, year-end close, audits, and cash flow.

Qualifications

• Take full ownership of the finance function.
• Lead and develop a team of one accountant.
• Manage all accounting operations including billing, AR, AP, GL, cost accounting and project revenue recognition.
• Prepare and submit monthly financial statements accurately and on time in the group consolidation system.
• Run month-end and year-end close and coordinate the annual statutory audit.
• Direct the preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecasts, and report variances to local and group management.
• Drive project controlling: track contract costs, WIP, project margins and collections.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, credit control, bank guarantees and FX exposure.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore statutory and regulatory requirements including ACRA filings, IRAS corporate tax and GST returns, withholding tax and CPF obligations.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.

About the role

Take full ownership of the finance function of Minimax Fire Solutions Singapore, reporting to the Managing Director in Singapore with a dotted matrix line to the Finance Director of the Minimax Fire Solutions Group.

• Prepare and submit the monthly financial statements accurately and on time in the group consolidation system
• Run the month-end and year-end close process and coordinate the annual statutory audit
• Direct the preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecasts, and report and explain variances to local and group management
• Drive project controlling: track contract costs, work in progress, project margins and collections, and support the commercial review of tenders
• Manage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, credit control, bank guarantees and FX exposure
• Ensure compliance with all Singapore statutory and regulatory requirements, including ACRA filings, IRAS corporate tax and GST returns, withholding tax and CPF obligations
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
