Job summary

AT-SUNRICE GLOBALCHEF ACADEMY PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant Manager, Finance to oversee the group’s financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting, strong internal controls, and full grant compliance. Lead budgeting, reporting, audits, and grant management while guiding leadership with strategic financial insights.

You will supervise the finance team, collaborate across departments, and partner with senior management to align financial strategy with program goals for sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
• Demonstrated experience managing grants.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, audits, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with accounting and financial systems (e.g., ERP, accounting software, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
• Maintain accounting policies in compliance with SFRS.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial procedures to mitigate risk.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
