Job summary

Care Corner Singapore Ltd seeks an Assistant Manager Finance / Senior Accountant to lead the accounting function, ensure accurate monthly and year-end reports, and support budgeting and forecasting. You will analyze financials, ensure compliance with standards, and drive internal controls and process improvements.

The role requires a degree in Accountancy or ACCA/CA with 5+ years of experience in finance operations within a mid-to-large organization. Strong ERP and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified with degree in accountancy or ACCA/CA; professional qualifications.
• At least 5 years of accounting/finance operations experience.
• Experience with full-set accounting and multiple P&Ls.
• ERP experience, preferably NetSuite; strong Excel skills.
• People management and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and handle ad-hoc projects.
• Experience in mid-large complex organizations.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and ensure the accuracy and timely submission of monthly and year-end management reports and analysis by reviewing submissions from subordinates.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities and ensure timely submission.
• Analyze financial numbers and highlight discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain books in compliance with accounting standards and company policy.
• Provide support with GST, treasury, investment returns, etc.
• Commentaries on operational performance and support planning, operations, and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive best practices; review policies and re-engineer processes.
• Assist and support projects/group tasks/duties as assigned.
• AFM will manage Process and Initiative and team tasks.
