Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced accounting professional to assist in fixed assets, inventory reporting, and control testing. You will support external audits, capital asset requests, accounts payable, and monthly closing activities.

The ideal candidate holds an accounting or finance qualification with 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong GL and month-end knowledge, and is proficient in Excel. Immediate availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Degree, ACCA or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong experience in full set accounts and GL is required.
• Good knowledge of month-end closing, reconciliations, GST, audit schedules, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Able to start work immediately/short notice

Responsibilities

• Assist with fixed asset physical count, tagging and reconciliation.
• Assist with inventory reporting including reconciliations, counts and adjustments.
• Assist with business control assessment and testing of controls.
• Collaborate with external auditors on controls evaluation and statutory audits.
• Prepare Capital asset acquisition requests.
• Support accounts payable related tasks.
• Support book-keeping and month-end closing.

Job scope

• Assist with fixed asset physical count, fixed asset tagging and reconciliation
• Assist with inventory reporting such as inventory reconciliation, inventory count, inventory adjustments
• Assist with business control assessment, testing of controls
• Work with external auditors on evaluation of controls and statutory audits
• Assist with preparation of Capital asset acquisition request
• Support the finance teams with accounts payable related tasks
• Support the finance teams with book-keeping and month end closing

Experience
