Job summary

Delton Marine Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Finance Executive to support the daily operations of the finance department, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls.

This role blends accounts management, financial reporting, and administrative support to keep the finance function running smoothly. Key duties include processing invoices, reconciliations, monthly management accounts, GST filings, and assisting with tax computations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent (ACCA/LCCI candidates are encouraged).
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero, or Microsoft Dynamics).
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
• High level of accuracy, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, verify expense claims, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding collections from clients.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and intercompany settlements.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and schedules.
• Maintain the General Ledger and ensure all journal entries are accurately posted.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes within strict deadlines.
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings to IRAS.
• Assist in corporate tax computations and withholding tax filings where applicable.
