Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a diligent finance professional to support fixed assets, inventory controls, and month-end closing. You will participate in asset tagging, asset reconciliation, and inventory adjustments while supporting accounting teams and external audits.

The role requires a diploma/degree in accounting or finance (ACCA preferred) with 3–5 years of relevant experience and strong Excel skills. Immediate or short-notice availability is advantageous for the team in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance or ACCA equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of full set of accounts and GL.
• Good knowledge of month-end closing, reconciliations, GST, audit schedules, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Available to start immediately/short notice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fixed asset counting, tagging and reconciliation.
• Assist with inventory reporting and reconciliations/adjustments.
• Assist with business control assessment and testing of controls.
• Collaborate with external auditors on controls evaluation and statutory audits.
• Prepare capital asset acquisition requests.
• Support accounts payable tasks and book-keeping.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.

Job scope

• Assist with fixed asset physical count, fixed asset tagging and reconciliation
• Assist with inventory reporting such as inventory reconciliation, inventory count, inventory adjustments
• Assist with business control assessment, testing of controls
• Work with external auditors on evaluation of controls and statutory audits
• Assist with preparation of Capital asset acquisition request
• Support the finance teams with accounts payable related tasks
• Support the finance teams with book-keeping and month end closing

Experience

• Diploma, Degree, ACCA or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong experience in full set accounts and GL is required.
• Good knowledge of month-end closing, reconciliations, GST, audit schedules, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Able to start work immediately/short notice
