Job summary

Helius Technologies Pte Ltd is seeking a practical and detail-oriented Finance Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and compliance in Singapore.

You will handle AP/AR, GL entries, month-end closes, GST returns, and produce reports using Advanced Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Power Query.

This role emphasizes process improvement through automation and strong accuracy, with 1–3 years of local accounting experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel proficiency with complex formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query; VBA/Macros basics.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore financial reporting standards (SFRS) and local tax regulations.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Oracle or SAP).
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), general ledger entries, and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist in month-end closing, prepare journal vouchers, and compile financial statements.
• Prepare Singapore GST returns and ensure compliance with ACRA regulations and local accounting standards.
• Build, update, and manage financial reports using Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, nested formulas, and Power Query) for fast analysis.
• Identify ways to reduce manual spreadsheet tasks and automate routine reports with Excel tools and macros.
