Career Opportunity
Depending on the candidate's experience, expertise, and demonstrated capabilities, the successful applicant may be considered for an Executive or a Senior Executive appointment. The position title and remuneration package will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, experience, and demonstrated capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts for assigned entity/entities
- Perform timely month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements
- Handle quarterly group consolidation and intercompany reconciliations
- Review general ledger entries, balance sheet schedules, and bank reconciliations
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and company secretary on finance-related matters
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies
- Prepare GST submissions and support tax-related schedules
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecast activities
- Support process improvements and strengthen internal controls
- Assist with ad-hoc finance projects and assignments as required
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CPA,or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
- Hands-on experience in full set accounting, month-end closing, and groupconsolidation
- Familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and statutorycompliance requirements
- Experience with MYOB Acumatica accounting system will be an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/ERP
- Independent, meticulous, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Attributes
- Hands-on and operationally strong
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in SME/group accounting environment preferred
- Audit background will be an added advantage
