Job summary

Leoch International in Singapore seeks a seasoned Finance Director/Manager to lead the Finance and Internal Audit functions, delivering robust financial governance, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to drive sustainable growth and efficiency.

The role requires establishing strong internal controls, coordinating regional finance activities, and partnering with senior management to strengthen governance, compliance, and cross-border trade operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of financial experience with at least 5 years in a Finance Director/Manager role
• Experience in cross-border trade finance across multi-country operations
• Experience integrating local Singaporean financial rules with global cross-border business

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance and Internal Audit functions and ensure strong financial governance and risk management
• Provide strategic financial leadership, oversee FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and reporting
• Establish and enhance internal control frameworks and policies to protect assets and ensure regulatory compliance
• Act as a trusted business partner to senior management with financial insights for decision making
• Oversee corporate governance and ensure adherence to financial standards and policies
• Lead and coordinate internal audit activities to improve control environment
• Provide regional financial oversight and cross-border collaboration with stakeholders
• Perform ad hoc finance-related duties and special projects as assigned

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance and Internal Audit functions, ensuring effective financial governance, robust internal controls, regulatory compliance, and comprehensive risk management across the organization.
• Provide strategic financial leadership, oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, and drive operational efficiency and sustainable business growth.
• Establish, implement, and continuously enhance internal control frameworks, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a trusted business partner to senior management, providing strategic financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support informed decision-making and business performance.
• Oversee corporate governance and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to relevant financial standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and coordinate internal audit activities to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify potential risks, and recommend improvements to strengthen the organization's control environment.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance and Economics.
• At least 10 years of financial experience, over 5 years as Finance Director/Manager; prefer cross-border trade with audit experience.
• Professional expertise in integrating Singapore’s local financial rules with multi-country cross-border trade finance full-process operation, mastering the fiscal and tax docking points of Singapore and global cross-border business.
• Rich experience in combining overall financialmanagement with sales business financial support, able to provide targetedfinancial solutions for cross-border trade sales business.
