Job summary

Sephora Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager, Financial Control on a 1-year contract to own day-to-day accounting, reporting and controls.

You will work with Shared Services, auditors, and regional finance stakeholders to close month-end and year-end, deliver statutory filings, and strengthen internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting, professional qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA advantageous) and at least 5 years of relevant experience in financial control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CA/CPA/ACCA qualification is advantageous.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting and financial control.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Good knowledge of Singapore statutory reporting and tax compliance.
• Experience in internal controls, risk assessment and control remediation.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting and financial control activities for Sephora Singapore.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing with SSC and relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate preparation and submission of group financial reports and statutory statements.
• Review accounting treatments for key transactions, leases, accruals and intercompany items.
• Lead internal controls reviews, tax compliance, and regulatory filings.
