Job summary

Lidl & Kaufland Asia in Singapore is seeking an experienced Finance professional to lead planning, forecasting and reporting for the regional business. You will translate data into actionable insights to boost ROI and growth, and partner with operations, HR and merchandising to ensure budget alignment.

The role requires hands-on Anaplan expertise, strong ERP/BI skills, and the ability to drive digital transformation while delivering accurate, timely analyses to senior leaders in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Recognised university degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Controlling, FPA or Commercial Finance.
• Hands-on experience as Model Builder in Anaplan.
• Advanced ERP & Reporting; experience with SAP and BI tools.
• Comfort working within Google Workspace environment for collaborative financial modelling.
• Hands-on experience utilizing AI tools like Gemini to optimise daily workflows and data modelling.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and to deliver accurate results.
• Independent, proactive and well organised with a focus on detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Planning, Forecasting & Reporting: coordinate regional financial planning and forecasting cycles.
• Produce monthly reporting packages and review decks for Leadership.
• Analyze P&L performance focusing on Actual vs Budget variance.
• Business Partnering: serve as primary Finance BP for C&S, HR and Merchandising.
• Build financial models to simulate impact of new initiatives.
• Execute ad‑hoc financial analysis for urgent needs.
• Maintain Anaplan budgeting/forecasting models for planning cycles.
• Lead Anaplan projects with external consultants on enhancements and updates.
• Provide hands-on training and support for Anaplan templates and dashboards.
• Process Governance: update SOPs for reporting and planning.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive simplifications for efficiency.
• Digital & Systems Transition: support implementation of digital transformation projects.
