Job summary

Lidl & Kaufland Asia is seeking a Finance Business Partner for regional planning, forecasting and reporting. You will act as a financial partner to Country Management, IT and Facilities/Procurement, building models to simulate initiatives and delivering insightful analyses.

You will work with SAP, BI tools and Anaplan, leveraging Google Workspace and Python/AppScript to streamline planning, data maintenance and cross‑functional collaboration in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

Recognized university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field; CPA is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Controlling or FP&A.
Advanced ERP & Reporting; experience with SAP, BI tools.
Experience as a Model Builder in Anaplan is a plus.
Comfort with Google Workspace for collaborative financial modelling and Python/AppScript for data maintenance.
Hands-on experience with AI tools like Gemini to optimize workflows and data modeling.

Responsibilities

Support regional financial planning and forecasting cycles.
Produce monthly reporting packages and leadership review decks.
Analyze P&L performance: Actual vs Budget variance.
Prepare quarterly postmortem reviews for Merchandising and Country Management.
Serve as Finance Business Partner for Country Management, IT and Facilities/Procurement divisions.
Build financial models to simulate impact of new initiatives.
Execute ad-hoc financial analysis for urgent needs.
Assist with approving and monitoring Asset Requests.
