Job summary

foodpanda is seeking a highly analytical Finance BI professional to join the Regional team in Singapore, overseeing APAC and Europe markets. You will partner with internal stakeholders, translate data into insights, and drive end-to-end data projects.

The role demands expert Excel and SQL, Tableau proficiency, and strong financial acumen. You will review performance against budgets, automate reports, and support cross-functional decisions in a fast-growing, diverse company with global reach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics or related quant field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA or CIMA are a plus.
• At least 6 years of experience in finance analytics.
• Strong BI reporting experience with Tableau and financial modeling.
• Advanced Excel and SQL knowledge.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate insights clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business challenges.
• Recommend data visualization solutions across BI tools.
• Manage end-to-end data projects; identify issues, gather information, analyze data, interpret patterns and trends, build models and create insightful automated reports.
• Review day-to-day operation processes; identify areas of improvement and make actionable recommendations based on underlying analysis.
• Analyze regional P&L performance, identifying key drivers of revenue and cost variances across APAC and Europe.
• Interpret financial trends to provide commentary on business performance against budget and historical benchmarks.
• Lead ad-hoc strategic deep-dives, translating raw data into actionable recommendations for regional leadership.
• Continually automate/streamline processes to improve business efficiency in the region.
