The Role

As a Finance & Accounting Specialist supporting our US parent company and Singapore subsidiary, you will oversee end‑to‑end financial operations, maintain compliance with local and international standards, manage tax obligations, and collaborate with external agencies (e.g., outsourced accounting firms) to ensure smooth operations. We need a detail‑oriented professional who can maintain accurate records, streamline processes, and guide strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore and US accounting standards (SFRS, US GAAP).
• File Singapore taxes (GST, corporate tax) and assist with US tax matters.
• Work with outsourced accounting and compliance agencies in both the US and Singapore to handle specialized tasks and remain compliant.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights and maintain internal controls.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow to support informed decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA/ACCA preferred).
• At least three years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and strong Excel skills.
• Familiarity with US GAAP and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
