Job summary

Goldman Sachs Singapore is seeking an Associate in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) to develop and strengthen client relationships, participate on advisory teams, and structure and execute a full range of financial transactions across Singapore and Southeast Asia.

You will work closely with senior bankers, covering banks, insurers, asset managers, FinTech, and other financial institutions, applying strong corporate finance fundamentals and robust analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification.
• Minimum 1-4 years of relevant investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A advisory experience.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills with Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Transaction Execution: Play an active role in the day-to-day execution of M&A, equity, and debt transactions for financial institutions, including managing due diligence processes, preparing marketing and valuation materials, and coordinating with external advisors.
• Client Pitching & Presentation: Assist the team in preparing pitch materials and industry analyses across different financial services sectors to support client coverage and business development.
