Job summary

REERACOEN SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Field Support Engineer/Senior Engineer (Electrical & Electronic) to perform installation, commissioning and maintenance at customer sites in the East region of Singapore.

You will diagnose faults, inspect systems, and implement corrective actions while coordinating with customers and internal teams. The role includes overseas technical training for 3–6 months in Japan, China, Taiwan or Thailand, and involvement in support of PLC programs and backups.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering required.
• 2–4 years field service engineer experience in installation, maintenance and repair of semiconductor/industrial equipment or vacuum systems.
• Practical electrical diagnostics and schematic reading essential; PLC knowledge.
• Able to explain technical issues to customers and teams; willing to travel to customer sites and overseas training for 3–6 months.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, start-up, commissioning and preventive maintenance at customer sites.
• Diagnose faults using electrical schematics, drawings and test instruments.
• Inspect wiring, control panels and equipment to identify faults and corrective actions.
• Coordinate servicing and testing of vacuum pumps; verify performance after repair.
• Prepare detailed service reports and communicate findings to customers and internal teams.
• Escalate complex faults with clear evidence; mentor assistants and junior engineers.
