Job summary

Stafflink Services Pte Ltd is seeking a field service technician to install, commission, service, troubleshoot and maintain vacuum system equipment at customer sites in Marymount, Singapore. You will read schematics, perform testing, and deliver timely service reports after field visits.

The role includes on-site work with periodic start-up support, calibration, and basic technical guidance to customers. Training is provided, with a Monday–Friday work week and standard allowances.

Qualifications

• Nitec or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• 2 years of field service, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, installation or repair experience advantageous.
• Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with vacuum systems, pumps, motors, sensors, valves or industrial equipment.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams, schematics and basic single-line diagrams.
• Basic knowledge of electrical control systems, sensors, switches, motors and control panels.
• Able to use basic hand tools and electrical/mechanical testing equipment for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable preparing service reports and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of company equipment at customer sites.
• Conduct equipment inspection and identify mechanical, electrical and operational faults.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and carry out corrective and repair works.
• Liaise with customers, engineers and internal teams regarding equipment performance and service requirements.
• Perform equipment testing and ensure systems are operating according to required specifications.
• Assist with equipment start-up, calibration and functional testing where required.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, schematics and equipment manuals to support installation.
• Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, checklists and other technical documentation.
• Provide customers with basic technical guidance on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Follow proper health, safety and environmental practices when working at customer sites.
• Perform other technical and ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Team Lead.
